This original Moroccan Pattern was inspired by the tile patterns found in the Alhambra in Spain, and popular throughout palaces and mosques in Morocco. The abstract painting was commissioned by a client for an office space.
I have created many commercial paintings and murals, from branding murals for office spaces, forty foot murals for window storefronts to increase property value and draw visitors. This project was very different, but I enjoyed working with a large pattern that would increase customer traffic for my clients. As we all know, our environment has a huge impact on our mood, so the choice of dark blue, earthy red and cream with the daring star like angles was bold but calming at the same time, perfect for an office.
